Our coarse powder mill specializes in the following characteristics:
- 1) As materials fall from top to bottom, roller and ring are equally worn. Thus the grinding mill’s life span could be 3 times higher than that of Raymond Mill;
- 2) When used in sand making plant, the coarse grinding mill will greatly improve the percentage of crushed sand;
- 3) This grinding machine can be used as pre-grind equipment before ball mill which increases the whole efficiency by 50%;
- 4) Suitable for crushing those non-inflammable and non-explosive brittle materials with Mohs Hardness less than 9.

Grinding Project for Chilean Market
Los Bronces Development Project in Chile Mining involves an investment between US$ 2.2 billion and US$ 2.5 billion, to build new grinding, mineral transport and concentration facilities which will increase the Division's production capacity to an average of 400,000 tons of fine copper annually, up from 230,000 tons currently.
SBM has supplied special coarse powder grinding mill and ball mills for the grinding plant expansion at the Los Bronces mine. Also we have provided primary crushers for crushing harder materials.

Grinding Project in Ghana
Ahafo operates a number of open pits with the majority of ore coming from the Apensu and Awonsu working areas.
A blend of both primary and oxide ore is fed to the grinding mill to balance the head grade and recovery in the leach circuit. SBM provided crushers and mills for the grinding project. Also there is powder classification system provided. After classification, the milling product is thickened and the overflow is fed to carbon-in-leach tanks.
